Katie Toupin is an American singer-songwriter. In 2011, she co-founded the alt-blues band Houndmouth; she sang and played keyboard. Katie remained with the band for five years as they toured , soon after, began performing at some of the country’s largest festivals including ACL, American Music Festival, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza. During that time, Houndmouth also made national TV appearances on “Late Night with David Letterman,” “Conan,” and NPR’s “World Cafe”. The ensembled toured in three continents and attained a Billboard #1 Song, “Sedona”, which is Platinum Certified.

In 2019, Katie released her first full length album, “Magnetic Moves,” titled after the opening track. In 2021, Katie released an EP, “Little Heart”. In 2024 she released her final solo album, “Big Magic”.

In 2024 she retired from her solo career to focus on a quieter life while fulfilling the dreams of her alter-ego, country sensation, Candi Jenkins.
